Newspaper Holds Training

Quo Vadis, the MCC student newspaper, is holding training meetings in College Center, Room 319 on Dec. 18 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Dec. 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. as part of a program implemented to help train new members who are interested in joining the newspaper for the spring 2018 semester.

The paper is looking for members to join any of the following areas: journalistic newswriting, journalistic option writing, photojournalism, graphics arts, illustrating, copy editing and a variety of other areas students may be interested in.

Students are encouraged to attend the meetings because working with the school newspaper will provide numerous opportunities now and in the future.

There is a chart below that shows what the meetings will cover.
Regular, weekly Quo Vadis meetings will be held in the College Center, Room 316 on the Edison campus every Wednesday at 11 a.m. beginning next semester.

Students can find the sign-up sheets in their campus emails which was sent to over 3,000 students in five majors registered at MCC.

For any students who are unable to attend any of the meetings, emails can be sent to Quo Vadis’ adviser Professor Melissa Edwards at [email protected] to discuss other meeting times.
