Nair Face Cream Removes Hair Quickly and Without Causing Pain

Madison Bara

One aspect of being a woman that I hate is having to shave. Women need to shave their armpits, legs and any other unusual body parts that have hair because it is what society deems as beautiful or acceptable for women. While I agree that some women need to shave to look presentable, it does not make the task any easier to accomplish. For example, an area that some women must shave all the time is their face. Thus, a few years ago, I started using Nair Hair Remover Moisturizing Face Cream.

I’ve used other products by Nair as well, but the face cream is one of my favorites. I use it once a month to get rid of any excess hair present on my face, and it works flawlessly.

This product is simple and easy to use. You apply an even layer of cream to cover any area on your face that has excess hair, whether it be your upper lip, chin or cheeks. Once it is applied, you must wait five to eight minutes depending on how thick the hair is and then check a small area for hair removal. After this, you gently wipe off the cream and hair with a damp washcloth and rinse your skin thoroughly with lukewarm water afterward. I recommend not leaving this on for more than 10 minutes or it will have side effects such as skin irritation. Also, do not rub while wiping off the cream or your face will be red in the areas that you applied it. That’s happened to me a few times, and the redness doesn’t go away until the next day, so be cautious.

The product has 100% natural extracts and moisturizing sweet almond oil. It gently exfoliates your skin while removing the hair from below the skin’s surface, leaving the skin smooth and radiant. However, I do not like the smell of the product. It has a strong musky scent that makes me feel sick to my stomach sometimes when I apply too much, especially on my upper lip. Thus, I recommend smelling it before you use it to see if you enjoy the smell, or if you can tolerate it enough to put it on your face.

While some girls and a few guys go to get their hair waxed, I prefer this method because it is fast, easy and painless. You can also travel with it, so whenever you need to shave, it is easily accessible and only takes a few minutes to complete the process. Since this product gets rid of hair below the skin’s surface, you only need to use it once a month, which is much better than using a razor and having to shave every two weeks.

I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to get rid of coarse, dark hair fast and painlessly. I thoroughly enjoy using it and it saves me a lot of time.

You can find Nair Hair Remover Moisturizing Face Cream at any store that sells beauty products, such as Walmart, Target, CVS, Walgreens and Ulta Beauty. The price ranges from $3.69-$5.99, depending on the retailer.

By Sebastian Casado, Copy Editor Dental hygiene is something that I take extremely seriously, and I’m sure everyone can agree with me. Having the perfect toothbrush is a significant part of keeping your teeth clean, and there is no better toothbrush than the Oral-B Pro 1000. In the beginning, I was never a fan of electric toothbrushes. I was under the impression that I didn’t need it. I could manage with a regular toothbrush.  However, I went...

I learned about the passing of several of my friends' parents and grandparents over somber Facebook messages and texts. Some of my friends had a limited chance to say goodbye because they could not enter the nursing home their family members who...
