Makeup Tips and Reviews: My Favorite Beauty Gurus Part 2

By Samantha Casano
Managing Editor

A few weeks ago, I talked about some of my favorite beauty vloggers on YouTube, and I am coming at you today with another edition of my favorite beauty gurus.

The first male beauty vlogger I started watching was MannyMUA, who has been on
YouTube since 2014, and currently has four and a half million subscribers. I mainly enjoy watching Manny’s in-depth makeup reviews and tutorials. He recently announced that he is releasing his own makeup line, Lunar Beauty, and I am excited to try his products because I trust his opinion when it comes to makeup.

Another YouTuber who I love watching is Casey Holmes. Holmes has over a million subscribers and has been filming beauty videos for seven years. One of my favorite types of video she films is her monthly hits and misses, in which she discusses her favorite and least favorite products of the month. She is as sweet as the Georgia peaches from which she hails, which I know from experience because I had the pleasure of meeting her a few years ago.

One of the smaller YouTubers that I recently came across was Amanda Louise. Amanda is close to 100,000 subscribers and has been on YouTube since 2015. I really enjoy watching her because I can relate to the fact that she is a college girl who just loves makeup and fashion. Her makeup tutorials always come out so beautifully and are super easy to follow. Don’t forget to follow her lashes routine if you want long, voluminous lashes like hers.

The final YouTuber I will be talking about is Stephanie Nicole, who has been getting more recognition lately. When I started watching her a few years ago, she had about 80,000 subscribers, but she now has over half a million. Stephanie works in the beauty industry and educates you about the science behind products. When you need recommendations on the best makeup and skincare, Stephanie is your go-to girl.
