Motor Vehicle Accident – Parking Lot #6A – 12 December 2017 6:18 pm
Vehicle #1 was properly parked in a parking stall in Lot #6A when it was struck by an unknown vehicle on the driver’s side of the front bumper. Vehicle #1 sustained damage to it’s front bumper and driver’s side head light. #I-2017-033996 – Closed B.
Motor Vehicle Accident – Parking Lot #5 – 11 December 2017 10:28 am
Vehicle #1 and Vehicle #2 were both traveling south in Lot #5 when Vehicle #2 reversed into Vehicle #1. The driver of Vehicle #2 stated that a car entering Lot #5 was very close to Vehicle #2 and she reversed to avoid a crash with that vehicle. Vehicle #1 sustained a minor dent and scratch to the driver’s side panel. Vehicle #2 sustained significant damage to the passenger side panel and rear bumper. Fire Alarm Activation – College Center – 08 December 2017 9:27 am
Police were dispatched to the College Center in response to a fire alarm activation. The building was evacuated. The alarm was set off by a broken pull station located on the second floor. The Fire Department arrived on scene, as well as maintenance personnel. After disarming the alarm, occupants were allowed back in the building. Fire watches were conducted every 30 minutes.
Theft – College Center – 08 December 2017 6:45 am
A faculty member reported to police that she had two students lock up a Windows 7 Professional Laptop with MCC decal #19192 in a closet in the Terrace area of College Center around 4:30 pm on 12/7/2017. Upon the instructor’s arrival to campus the morning of 12/8/2017, the Terrace area was found to be wide open and the laptop missing. Police reviewed surveillance cameras in the area but were not able to see anyone exit the Terrace area with the laptop. #I-2017-033580 – Open Case.

The driver of Vehicle #1 was backing out of a parking space in Lot #1 when it struck Vehicle #2. Vehicle #1 did not sustain damage, Vehicle #2 sustained a large dent in the passenger’s side door. No injuries were reported. #I-2017-033505 – Closed C.
Terroristic Threats – Gateway – 06 December 2017 3:48 pm
An individual reported to police that a classmate said he was going to stab him with a pencil when he (the subject) found out that his lab partners were joking around with him regarding a group project. The subject in this case said he was only joking and would never take such action; the subject also stated that he would apologize. #I-2017-033413 – Closed C.

The driver of Vehicle #1 was backing into a parking space in Lot #6 when she struck a parked car. Vehicle #1 sustained damage and paint transfer on the driver’s side rear bumper and fender. An individual was taken into custody after it was determined that there were outstanding warrants for his arrest; additionally, the subject was charged with harassment and stalking. I-2017-033331 – Closed A.
Motor Vehicle Accident – College Drive East – 05 December 2017 1:12 pm
The driver of Vehicle #2 attempted to go around Vehicle #1, a bus, which was parked at the bus stop. Vehicle #2 struck the rear bumper of Vehicle #1 resulting in damage to Vehicle #2’s bumper. No injuries were reported during the crash. #I-2017-033320 – Closed C.
Theft – L’Hommedieu Hall – 04 December 2017 4:41 pm
Police were dispatched to L’Hommedieu Hall for a report of stolen dental hygienist equipment. Upon arrival, police met with two students one of whom stated that her entire Freshman Kit was removed from her cabinet, which may not have been secured, during her lunch break, but it was returned a few days later. The second student reported her First Year Kit had been stolen about a month ago. There are no known witnesses or suspects at this time. #I-2017-033230 – Closed B.
