On Friday, Feb. 6, the Association of Middlesex County College Nursing Students hosted an informative health fair at the College Center. MCC nursing students along with the American Diabetes Association and Community Blood Services were present from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. performing more than 50 blood pressure screenings, handing out information and signing people up for the National Marrow Donor Program. In addition, there was a blood drive mobile outside college center which attracted more than 20 donors. "We [organized] this event in collaboration with Student Activities and its African American History Month celebration," said the association advisor and MCC faculty member Pamela Hicks, B.S.N., R.N.
